@8R7SQ2V4yrs4Y
If it is public knowledge, yes.
@49VGR683yrs3Y
Yes, provided that
-They provide the weapon (no cost to taxpayers)
-They possess any state required carry permit
-They pass a range qualification test (they're competent as a shooter)
-The weapon is not kept on their person, but in a bio-access safe in a classroom/teacher lounge (fingerprint/iris lock)
-Only the Superintendent, Principal, Resource Officers, and other armed teachers know who is armed
How can you say no to this?
@6T6QF9M4yrs4Y
Yes, but those teachers need to have a Concealed Carry License and provide proof to the local Dean or school board. No veto.
@8GL4FPQ4yrs4Y
Yes, if the state chooses to allow it
@8LCC7N74yrs4Y
Yes but the teachers need an ID to enter the building with a gun.
@8LKRCYD4yrs4Y
No, there could be accidental shootings, and racism still lies in schools, which can cause the gun being used when angered by a teacher or student.
